...like they only do it because they have to. DD1 would have stayed attached to my boob 24 - 7 if I would have let her. If she wasn't hungry she would still nurse forever just because she enjoyed it.
DD2 on the other hand will REFUSE to nurse if she's not hungry. Since the day she was born its been very scheduled (her schedule, not one I created). At night she may cluster feed a bit but other than that she will go about every 4 hours or so. She has even slept practically all night since day one. If I try to nurse her and she's not hungry she gets so mad and refuses to latch on.
Do some babies just not comfort nurse? She just seems like she could take it or leave it while DD1 seemed to crave it like a drug or something.
Could this effect the amount of time she nurses for? DD1 made it past 2 but I don't get the same feeling from Maggie.
