It's 4am and I'm Wide Awake....Help!

Ugh! I'm having the worst time getting back to sleep after baby nurses. The 4am session seems to be the worst time for me, and can take up to an hour for me.

We'll be moving the crib into our bedroom today. I hope this helps, but other than moving her into the bed with us (not safe for us) is there anything else I can do?

Not much help I am afraid, I am in the UK, its currently mid day and I have been up since 1 am so I am currently sympathising with you.

I think having the crib in with you will make a big difference, you won't be having to travel so far, baby will be able to hear and smell you so maybe won't wake up as much.

Have you thought about one of those cribs that attaches to the bed so you are kinda co sleeping but kinda not?

Funny you should mention the sidecar idea. DH actually suggested that we could try lowering the crib mattress so that it is level with our bed and removing the rail. I don't know though, is that safe?

I was actually up from 3:30 to 5:30. The good thing is I actually watched the sunrise. The bad thing is I suck at the no sleep thing. :yawning:
