Thread Starter
HI there,

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and I am still breastfeeding my 2 yo and dont want to stop but I am so hungry all the time I wake up sick hungry in the night and I have to eat every 3 hours 24 hours a day. I dont seem to be able catch up and this morning I had bad nausea and I couldnt look after my girl. Feel bad. I am eating grains, fruits and vegs, protein and protein bars...

Anyone has advice on what to keep in my bathroom pantry for nightime hunger-killer eating?

Cheers

Have you checked out the Due Date Clubs? There will usually be a Nursing Moms thread there, and they can talk about calorie needs, etc.

I nursed my 2yo through my entire second pregnancy and, like you, I was so hungry all the time!

Just before bed I would eat something like Peanut Butter on bread. Sometimes even a PB and Butter sandwich. Then if I woke up starving I'd have a small helping of cheese to tide me over until morning. Heaven help me if breakfast wasn't the very first thing I did in the morning!

Also, I found things like lemonade or limeade and watermelon helped the nausea tremendously during the day when I had to be 'on' with my toddler.

Good luck!
