I'm not sure what I was thinking when I ordered seeds, but we ended up with several plants of both a pink and a yellow tomato (bull's heart and pineapple). We're not huge fans of the flavor of these tomatoes. They taste, well, really, really sweet.
Last night, I made tomato sauce out of them, and while it was okay, it turned out crazy sweet. Like I had added sugar to them. Yikes. I'm not sure what to add to the cooked tomatoes to balance out the sweet flavor. Any ideas? I don't want these tomatoes to go to waste, and there are a number of them, so at least 3-4 more big pots of sauce to go.

).... so that leaves cooking them, you know? We do like ketchup, so I might cook them down into ketchup, which is sweet. Our bbq sauce is vinegar based, so not sweet.
