They squashed my cucumber plants!

I got home today and found DD's medical supplies had been delivered and one of the boxes was on top of my cucumbers. I don't know if they are wrecked or not, but we JUST started getting cucumbers and 2 of them can be picked any time.

Seriously, there's plenty of sidewalk in front my door..who just thinks, "Oh this box will be perfect on top of these gorgeous green leaves, bright yellow flowers and 7" long cucumbers!" Grrr....

So are they goners?

Are any of the main parts of the vines heavily kinked or broken? If not they'll probably be ok.

That sucks though. I had always had problems getting melons to set at my old place ... finally one year I got a honeydew plant to set two melons, and JUST when they were getting close to ripe one of the neighbor's kids swung through and stomped on them. I was all kinds of .
