Cool beans! I know there are some people who are in the medical community who do really support hb...she sounds like one of them. When you think about it, the evidence for safe birth really does fall on the side of planned homebirths...

That would be ME in the hospital! I had a mom say somewhat sarcastically that next time she should just stay home, and my response was a very supportive, "I think you'd be an excellent candidate for home birth!" There are nurses (and cnms, and even a few mds) that are supportive of home birth out there!
