Quick question on a bottle

Hi, I am doing my baby registry and after much research have found that I think I want to use THIS bottle for when I have to leave baby.
Is this the right set that is recommended on here so much for breastfed babies right? And these are the right drop ins correct? Can I freeze breast milk in these drop ins? I dont plan to pump except for fresh use because I plan to exclusivly breast feed but just in case I want to have some bottles.

I use those bottles too when I leave. You can't freeze milk in the drop ins because they don't seal. They sell specific bags that double seal for freezing breastmilk.

You may find that it's much easier to have some stashed away in the freezer if you want to use it than trying to worry about pumping fresh. The few times I don't take my DD with me, I nurse her right before I leave, then pull a bag out of the freezer to thaw and be ready to warm up for my DH or whomever is watching her. If I had to pump before I left to have fresh for her, I wouldn't be able to just nurse her before I left and it would be kind of a pain to have to spend 15 min. or whatever pumping before I left. Besides, you can't be sure that you would be able to pump enough at that sitting for what your LO may need while you're gone.

My granddaughter, Matilda, uses the Platex bottles when I'm watching her. Erica doesn't use the roung drop ins, though. She pours her milk from the pump bottles to the Platex flat bags. ( http://moms-rus.com/estore/product_i...roducts_id=386) That way, she can twist the opening closed and fastens it with a rubber band. All I have to do is to defrost the bag (either in the fridge or in a cup on the counter), pop it in the bottle and feed Matilda. Oh, and she uses the slow (aka newborn) nipples.

Joy's son Parker drinks his out of the Advent bottles. Joy uses the Lansinol breast milk bags ( http://www.amazon.com/Lansinoh-Breas.../dp/B000M16Y7U) or the ones from Hygeia (http://store.tinytots.com/store/prod...ge-Bags-25-ct/) to store her milk. Since I store both in my freezer, it helps to keep them separated. While Matilda can drink Joy's milk; Parker can't have Erica's due to meds that Erica takes.

Washing bottles is better IMO. I liked Avent w/ DD.

Do I have to use the drop ins? Can these storage bags be used in it instead? Then I could take it straight from the freezer and just use them? Or do they not work? Do they work with this bottle?

I loved those storage bags, and the Gerber ones.

I have no clue on putting them directly into the bottle.

I never made enough to freeze, but I used this system and liked it a lot. I had to buy 2 kits for the 2 adapters, and I used them with 8 oz drop-ins.
