I thought it would be fun if we went back and edited our posts to reflect what really happened. I was surprised by how close I came!

4-6 hrs (I knew 12 hrs before dd was born that labor was starting, but nothing much happened until my water broke at 2cm she was born about 4 hrs later)

Turns out I was pretty close on everything!

length of labor: 30 hours According to my midwife, "real labor" was only about 22 hours, since that's when they reliably hit 5 minutes or less... but I was having "real" (painful) contractions for 79 hours before they hit that pattern (at 3-15 minutes apart for the most part, but some were further).

length of labor: 3 hours of early/prodomal labor, 2 hours of active labor, for 5 hours total. Actual: Hard to pinpoint of course, but I'd say 3 hours of early labor (could still talk through ctx), 2 hours of active labor, 1 ish hour of pushing.
