Has anyone taken this antibiotic while breastfeeding? Did you have any problems?

Thanks so much in advance!

Do you mean Bactrim? If so, I took it when my DD was 6 weeks old. It's not generally recommended when a baby is so young. I had little choice and she was fine. There are other antibiotics that are safer for young infants but if you have to take that one you can talk to ped about what to watch for
good luck!

Hale has it listed as a category L3.

"Pediatric Concerns: None reported via milk, but use with caution in hyperbilirubinemic neonates and in infants with G6PD."

Thanks so much for answering. I checked it out on toxnet (lactmed) and felt better about having to take it. I've been quite hesitant. I saw some reviews that weren't good on another website, but that's probably because most people will only post when problems occur.

I've been hesitating in taking the antibiotics, but I'm getting to a point where I probably don't have much of a choice.

And, yes, I did mean Bactrim! Thanks!
