caffeine

Does anyone know how long after consumption caffeine is present in breastmilk? Does caffeine act like alcohol in that it is present in breastmilk at similar percentage as in blood, so that it gradually decreases in potency over time?

I've been looking on the LLL website but haven't found these answers yet. Anyone have a good resource?

Never mind. Found the answer to my question on Kellymom.

Here's the link in case anyone else is interested:

I'm optimistic that my morning cup of decaf which apparently wasn't decaf will be enough out of our system by bedtime that we might get a little sleep.
