Diapers and Prefolds

Ok, so I need a few more covers to use with the 2 dozen prefolds I am planning on getting. So, I was looking for a good cover. My son is 22 months and running about 25 pounds. I am kinda liking the thoughts on a one size cover, but I am not sure since I have not used one before (we do have BGOS though and like them). AND, I am wondering about snaps. I am getting tired of my Aplix not working well, but DH is not keep on snaps. Not sure what to do! Help!

I am looking at the Thristies Duo and the Blueberry snap coveralls (or aplix). I am concerned with the Thirsties because my current Thirsties cover folds down in the front and the aplix rubs on his tummy.

As far as prefolds, has someone used the All Together Diaper prefolds? My friend swears they are softer than GMD. What about the Little Lion prefolds, are they soft? After feeling my friends ATD prefolds and a GMD prefold, I kinda thought she was onto something....

Again, I am over thinking something that is really not complicated. I know!

My prefolds I made myself so no advice there.

I have Mommy's Touch one size covers with snaps. I LOVE them. In fact I just ordered 5 more. They are very adjustable (I've used them since birth (8lb 9oz) until now (25lbs)). I've had no problems with snaps failing. Dh finds them easy to use as well. I have a couple other covers with the aplix & I find it rough & unreliable - plus ds can pull them open.

How bulky are the Mommy's Touch? Are they really worth $19? Yikes! I like to trifold my dipes for extra absorbency since my son is a super wetter They look nice though.

I trifold in them quite often. I don't find them any bulkier than other covers I have, even when he was born it wasn't too bad. I find the pul on them is really soft & "quiet".

I only have 2 (& have been lamenting how few I have for awhile) & my dh recently INSISTED I get 5 more. When I spoke to the woman I ordered them through she was surprised 'cause she said it's usually the other way around! Dh figures that since those are the ones we like best & use the most we'll most definitely get our money out of them.

my fav cover is the bummis super whisper wrap, also i have a friend that uses their super brite verson and they seem even more water tight but with the same fit. i dont have thirsties, but they dont have the best fit in my opinion and i can hardly ever get them tight enough that they dont droop. my dd is 35+lbs, tall and the large thirsties ALWAYS droops. I like this one-size wrap, its very soft and doesnt droop like my large thirsties.
