DD had all of the recommended shots until she was 16 months old (you know the drill & I was totally uneducated).
And the great news is that she is immune to CP (she only had 3 little blisters after ds was fully broken out, so yay!!), Rubella, Measles, Diptheria, and Tetanus.
The bad news is that she is not immune to Pertussis.
The really sh*tty news is that we are in WV and she starts pre-k in 19 days. (yes she is going, homeschooling is not one of the options on the table, but my ds3 will be homeschooled & still no vaxes for him!)
Now I'm stuck with seeking and finding pertussis, or giving the shot.
My questions are...
What in the heck is pertussis?
And give me your opinions?
