I'm about 33 weeks pregnant and nursing my 14mo. For the last couple of weeks, she has been nursing a LOT. As the contractions from her nursing do get pretty tight at times, I've been curious about something...wondering if all this extra 'toning' of my uterus might mean an efficient/expeditious labor? What have your experiences been, mamas?
Her birth was pretty darn efficient on its own; ~5 hours of labor and an hour of pushing due to a funky presentation. I'd taken castor oil, so not sure if that had something to do with anything, but I'm getting curious to find out if I can expect the same or faster with this upcoming birth. (As much as one can reasonably 'expect' anything, that is!)
