Ok I guess everyone has to have at least one TMI thread/post in their pregnancy so I guess it's my turn

Can a cervical check cause you to lose some of your mucus plug? My midwife mentioned bloody show, but what I am seeing is thick and creamy white, no color.

yes, a cervical check can cause you to loose some of your mucous plug.
From experience my mucous plug wasn't very bloody - more like a white jelly lump (snot like really). HTH
