Several of these items are seasonal or have a predictable sale cycle. When they go on sale, do you stock up for the year? Are you paying full retail for these? Buying in bulk or seeking out the best price per unit?
Making a trip to a discount or warehouse store might make sense for you, especially if you can make a once-a-year trip with a friend. Grocery prices on non-grocery items are often high. It looks like you are paying significantly (2-3x) more per unit than we do. COL might explain some, but I doubt it explains it all.
