I see a bunch of threads in here and the admins are not available at the moment so I just wanted to post real quick to say that I know all of the styles are currently being worked on by the Mothering staff.
Having worked with vBulletin before, I'm guessing the style choices were likely disabled in order to be able to tinker with them as much as is necessary without making the software all fussy.
I'm going to ask the admins to post an update the second they have one.
I have no idea what the final options will end up being.
