DIY diaper sprayer link

I'm new to all this, so I found this link and I'm wondering if anyone has tried this and if so, is it effective? Any problems? Also what about child proofing ideas? It would be only a matter of minutes before my 3 year old got into it, flooded the floor, slipped and hurt himself!

We had one like that, but we had a shut off valve on the sprayer side and the kids didn't even realize it was there. I would think it wouldn't be too hard to add on.

We bought everything to make a diaper sprayer, but it was more difficult than we thought. We live in Canada, and we bought over $50 worth of parts, and ended up returning them to buy a mini-shower diaper sprayer.

DH loved it because it was super easy to install and it cost less!

Great minds think alike on the shut off valve. As I read down on the comments on the page, several people commented it needed one, not only for kid control but because the kitchen sprayer will leak if it is left under constant pressure.

I think I'm heading to the hardware store tomorrow ;-)

Somebody mentioned to me the idea of getting a hand-help shower sprayer in the shower (I'm looking for the ones with adjustable pressure/flow so I can get that forceful center spray for dirty dipes). You just need a bucket in your shower to spray the mess into and then you turn around and dump the bucket into the toilet when you're finished. This is what I am planning on using, it seems more multi-functional than a sprayer attached to my toilet. ::: Besides, I've always wanted one, now I have reason to buy one.
