I think that even if they were open to the idea, a detailed and anatomically correct lecture on the matter doesn't fit in the movie. This was sweet, matter-of-fact, and snuck in a little information. How would you change it? Thanks for reporting back everyone! I'm so glad that it made it in! |
My point was I was surprised that Disney, a company known for pushing old-fashioned cultural ideals on people, would allow even the most subtle mention of breastfeeding, an act that quickly became taboo in our society during and after World War II and has stayed that way ever since.
