Love all these too. I just love books for kids and young adults.

I keep thinking about that book!

Plus the one about a boy with a pet racoon.

Also the one about a boy with the hunting dogs who hunted racoons.

I guess I'm missing the back to nature type books

LoL . . . great thread. I loved the Babysitter's Club and Sweet Valley High series as a child too. Loved Ramona Quimby! I own Tuck Everlasting, which I loved and still love.

I think you're the only other adult I've come across that knows about Bruno and Boots! Be still my heart!

About a year ago DD got a huge box of babysitter club and saddle club books (about 100 saddle club and 50 babysitter club books, so 150 books in all...) and I have borrowed a few of them to read at different times.

I just finished the second Bugs Potter. My collection is now complete.

I have read I Want to go Home so many times it's falling apart. I don't think I've read any of his other books though.

That's awesome! You should have your kids read them. Others that are similar to that one are "Who is Bugs Potter?", "No Coins Please", "The Twinkie Squad", "Losing Joe's Place", and he has some new ones that are pretty good too. "No More Dead Dogs" was ok, but not quite as good as the classics.

Where the Red Fern Grows - Good book but the end was so

I loved BSC when I was younger, especially the special adventure ones. My favorite SVT book was The Magic Christmas.

I read very little fiction myself but when I do I always prefer children's lit.

Another Gordon Korman fan here. In fact, I still OWN some Gordon Korman books -- there are a lot of things that I will declutter happily, but I hang onto my books! I think I still have No Coins Please, I Want to Go Home, Son of Interflux, Don't Care High, and the original MacDonald Hall.

And I re-read L. M. Montgomery books any time I feel sick.

LOVE that book. I have a copy of it somewhere. I have to go through all my books to see what I need to get for my kids. They are getting into more and more stories.

I love your username! That's awesome.

Yes, I own quite a few Gordon Korman books and hit the jackpot at thrift stores last time I was visiting home and found "Our Man Weston", "Radio Fifth Grade" and maybe one other....

Those are added to my collection now. I haven't read "Son of Interflux", I'll have to get on that. Bookmooch.com is great for finding some of the old ones.

I re-read The Blue Sword every other year or so.

Trixie Belden mysteries! I still have my vintage ones.

This was one of my absolute favorites, too! I'd love to reread it. Also, the Darkness is Rising series by Susan Cooper (I've taken a couple of them out to reread in the past year) and Trixie Belden.

I've been enjoying re-reading the Little House, Pipi Longstocking, and E.B.White books with the kids, too.
