reselling wool

Hi!
I know there are several outlets for selling used diaper covers - I've just never used them beyond ebay which seems to have shifted away from nonstore sales......So, I want to sell my newborn woolens in the easiest/safest manner possible (w/paypal).
The MDC tp seems to be not oft viewed, I have a diaperswappers account and thebabywearer as well but not sure where I will get the most traffic.

I have no problem using the MDC one - I just never have....

TIA

PS I hope this counts as a diaper thread!

You will definitely get the most traffic @ DS. There is also Cloth Diaper Nation. They are a smaller group so their FSOT is slower.

I would post an intro first and if you have a link to any feedback, post it in your listing.

I've sold on DS a number of times -- it seems to be moving slower right now (all FSOT's are, must be the economy?) but DS is still the best place to sell, IMHO.

FWIW, when selling I try to:
1) price it right -- spend a few moments to do a search for similar items and see what price other people are asking. Things move quicker if you price it right. Remember to take into account the Paypal fees (they now charge fees to all sellers regardless of whether the buyer uses credit card or funded paypal) and shipping charges.
2) Take good photos -- arrange the item attractively. Light it well (afternoon sunlight is nice). Retake blurry photos. Make sure the pic is big enough that people can see details, but not so big that people have to scroll to see the whole picture.
3) Give good descriptions -- make a thorough inspection of your items for sale; note any flaws and try to take close-up photos of them. This makes the buyer feel more comfortable that they know what they are buying/getting and that you are a conscientious seller.
4) As the other mama said, if you don't have feedback on DS, link to your feedback in other places (including ebay). It may also make DS buyers more comfortable if they see that you have posted there before, so post a little to get your post count up before selling.
