My cat blew another life...

She's used up another life.

Kiki AKA "Pinky" has done it again. It's the second time I've rescued her! She got her head stuck in a cup trying to get the last tablespoon of milk left over from my DDs. Sigh. Of course, the kids think it's hysterical (cat running around backwards--crazed after realizing cup is stuck on head). Sigh. They don't get that she could have sufforcated! YIKES!

The first time this happened was about a year ago two weeks after we adopted her. Thankfully we were here!

She's the sweetest, most gentle cat in the world, but I think she's the most stupid cat we've ever owned. The stuff that she does...OMG. She'll like crawl up your chest and try to sit on your face (literally). No concept of personal space whatsoever.

The lack of sense can be really funny, but dangerous. About our own cat we often say, Not the brightest star...

sorry the visual of that is too funny! Good thing you were there to help her though, I'm sure she was terrified. Reminds me of the time a cat I had when we were kids, he got a jingle bell on a string tangled around his tail (don't ask, I have no idea how he did this) and he was running through the house like a manic. We had to chase him down to get it off of him, needless to say we were laughing the whole time.

My one cat Barney he did this more than once! It is scary to think that I may not have been there. He has also gotten a dunkin donuts bag stuck on his head!

Wait, that isn't normal behavior?

Yeah, if it wasn't in the middle of the night and I wake up with cat hair in my mouth (yeah, she's a longhair).

Thankfully she's now sleeping with my DD overnight, and apparently doesn't expect my DD to pet her on demand the way she does of me. Go figure .

At one point my older DD was so upset she slept on my younger DD's bed...I had to explain to her not to take it personally, that her bed was just by the window and she was used to sleeping there and looking outside during the day!
