I am :Puke Usually it happens when I let myself get too hungry. This morning I had a very small breakfast. About an hour later I was driving and I started to feel sick. I pulled off to the side of the road and got sick Anyone else experiencing this?

No puking, just nasty dry heaving. All day. At least it means our babies are growing, right?

You poor thing.

I've only thrown up once and it was because I went in the bathroom after my dh had spent some time in there. STINKY!

I hope you feel better soon. I'm starting to feel a bit better, but still do my fair share of gagging.

I'm glad we can share in our misery together All the puking, gagging, nausea will be worth it when we hold our babies :

I've thrown up twice. Yesterday I poured a a sippy cup that had been forgotten, it used to have milk in it, I gagged and couldn't stop.

It seems that with each of my pregnancies it gets worse. I stayed home from work today because I couldn't keep anything down. I feel awful.

I let myself go too long without eating anything (because nothing sounded good) and I just puked about a half an hour ago. Still don't feel like eating...though I'm going to force myself so I don't puke again (hopefully).

Ugh. Me! I keeping clinging to Monday. Last Monday, I had a good day. I felt 80% okay. I was dressed with makeup and earrings! I thought things were changing. And then I was so sick and vomiting the next day. I am so tired of being scared to brush my teeth. I actually don't brush in the morning (only listerine). How gross is that? Please! More days like Monday!

Unfortunately I'm with you. It's a daily occurence now. I've tried to put a finger on what makes it happen but it just happens. It's not a specific food or beverage I'm just sick all day long. I've tried Sea bands, ginger root, ginger ale, ginger gum, Unisom/B-6, eating bland foods....I have to tell you, this is the most miserable I've been in my whole life. I haven't had an U/S yet but I keep telling my hubby that it'd be nice if it were twins so we can be done so I don't have to go through this again. I really thought I'd be one of those happy pregnant women but I'm anything but that now. I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow. Part of me is at least excited that it's a good sign that things are going good, but I really can't wait for this part to be over!!!

I'm there too ladies. This past weekend was the worst, I think b/c I didn't get enough sleep and awake a lot earlier for work. But the crazy thing is I can eat something one day & be fine. The next day I try it again & get sick. DH says he's had enough... I asked him if he wants to trade. (Dealing w/ me being grumpy sounds awfully nice right now!!!)

Amen sister, I wish all I had to do was go get things for my spouse and hear them complain. I would switch in a heart beat.

I've puked about 3x in the last week. I'm a puker.

One morning I woke up at 5 am just to get out of bed and puke. I did get back to sleep for another hour and half though.

Last night I puked up tuna fish. It was awful.

Hot tip - My dental hygienist told me to just brush with water and no tooth paste. It's better than nothing.

I've also switched to a kids toothbrush, it makes the gag reflex a little weaker. Although, it didn't work completely this morning

I am.. goes back and forth, usually 5-10 times per day since I was 5.5 weeks (I'm 10w3d now) Just wrote a long post in the morning sickness thread. I think I have HG, but my MW doesn't want to scare me, and she put me on medication that helps me to eat some foods.

Ellien - I have to brush my teeth after every snack/meal/drink because I have hyper-salivation (pg-induced). If I don't brush with enough toothpaste to get any sugar/starch off I start throwing up saliva. I use Tom's Spearmint toothpaste and it doesn't have a lot of sugar.. it has been my LIFESAVER. I get it for about 3.50 at Target. Whole Foods and TJs or where ever else charges over 5 bucks! You might try a kind with less sugar? I find that the spearmint helps my nausea. But we're all different!

Puking up tuna fish, oh no that is awful

I'm paranoid about how long I go without eating now. That's what makes me sick. I have to run some errands and I'm going have to bring a snack so I don't get too hungry. I really don't want to get sick in public!

This may sound weird, but I have brought applesauce with me when I go out. I cannot eat anything hard or chewy like granola bars or other snack bars. I just sort of tip the container and suck it out.. I know it sounds strange but the plain kind is bland enough for my tummy and the natural sugars keep my nausea away until I can get home and back to bed.

That doesn't sound weird to me at all. Applesauce sounds really good. I'll have to try that.
