Pump Recommendation???

Thread Starter
HI,

I had been renting a hospital grade pump but I think it will be cheaper for me to buy one after all.

Unfortunately, I don't get much milk when I pump in general but I want to have one for emergencies, etc....

I am thinking of getting a Medela Pump in style advanced.
Have you mamas had a good experience with this pump???? Would you recommend it?

Thanks for the input!!!!!

I got a second hand Medela Pump In Style Advance from a consignment sale for $50 and its been my best invesetment yet. I use mine on a regular basis as I'm building up a back to work stash and its wonderful. Obviously it won't be as good as a hospital grade pump but I'd go with it .

i have a very used, 7 yr old model, and although im sure the motor is weakened, i like it. mine is the 4th child to benefit from use of this pump.

I've used many different pumps and I have an ameda purely yours that I LOVE! Its cheaper then the PIS to boot. Also a closed system, no tubes getting milk in them.

I have the Medela Pump In Style and I love it too. And no milk in the tubes on that either - at least it's never happened to me and I've been pumping for 7 months.
