Birthday ideas??? for SO

I've been dating someone for a little over 1/2 a year. This guy has $$ and isn't shy to spend it. He has everything that he could ever want, and then some. Very different from me.... Not only am I broke, but I'm also a minimalist. His birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I would like to do something, just not sure what. He doesn't expect anything special from me and knows my financial status. Still though, I don't want the day to go by without me doing something special. Any ideas??

How about a picture of him in a nice frame?

A CD with music that you love that tells him a message (when DH and I were long distance dating I sent him a CD with s*xy songs)?

A day where you plan everything - it won't matter if you do free/low-cost activities just take all the planning/deciding off of him and make it special (I brought an old boyfriend a cake I made, a bottle of champagne, candles and music to share in the hot tub after he was off of work, he was really touched)?

Good luck. Once I figure out what to do I have so much fun planning it. I just had a surprise 50th birthday party for DH that overwhelmed him.

Bake a cake or other homemade yummies. Most guys enjoy a chocolate chip cookie.....

I would make him a sexy candlelit dinner. The whole shebang, yummy food, chocolate fondue with seasonal fruit for dessert and a bottle of wine. You can do this for reasonably cheap and I've never known a man that doesn't appreciate delicious food.
