These lunchboxes look awesome!

Okay, we homeschool, but I thought these would be especially great for kids in school. They are a bit on the pricey side but exactly the kind of thing I have been looking for:

Just wanted to share because I am so excited about it! (I swear I am not affiliated with this company in any way.)

I love it! I love the metal insert. G'parents wanted to buy something for ds for back to school, and I think i've found it. Thanks for the link!

i love em. they are awesome.

but i would never buy them.

just like me my dd seems to lose a lunchbox every year!

Those are great. 50 bucks is a lot but if the kids eat the food because it's cold and not smushed, it could be worth it. Plus, no baggies to buy.

I love it, and I wish that DS needed a lunch box. Those are super cute,a nd very earth savvy!

Oh wow, these are great! We also homeschool, but these make me think I could make lunch ahead of time just to be able to use them!!!

I've promoted those so much on this and other boards that they should just give me a free one.

The metal box fits inside several other lunchboxes. You don't really need to buy their complete set. Although it's so convenient.

I want one, but not at that price.

I just bought a Laptop Lunchbox kit, but after seeing this just plopped down $70 for the Planet Lunch box. Oh, God...DP is going to KILL me! LOL! This looks even more awesome than the Laptop Lunchbox!! Thanks for the link!

Ahh, I've been looking for something just like this. I may have to get it even though DS doesn't need a lunchbox this year (half day only).
Those almost make me wish DS was doing a full day at school, and not just a half day. Of course there is next year.

we love it!!!

The discussion of them in this thread: http://mothering.com/discussions/sho....php?t=1081849 prompted me to buy one and we really like it. We get to use it for the first time tomorrow. Dd picked out the retro cat magnets.

That looks really nice. I'm going to have to show the kids and see if there would be enough interest to make it an okay present.

I have loved the looks of the laptop lunchbox for a while, but try to avoid plastics. Right now the kids take in glass which is HEAVY. I need to weigh them, though, and see if this (at 19 ounces) is much lighter. Esp since they still would need their water & snacks.

We got one too and I love it. Ds took lunch in it to school for the first time today. We got the whole kit. I like that there is a place for drink and the foogo drink thermos fits, so ds can bring his beloved Star Wars water bottle with him. It's easy for him to open and appreciate the lack of lids/extra pieces in the overall design. I hope that makes it easier to keep up with.

Thanks!!!! I have been contemplating what luchboxes to get my kids as they will be starting Montessori school and will need lunches packed daily. I have just found my lunchboxes thanks to you!

I am so envious of all you mamas getting these!

For those of you that have used it, just how much does one compartment leak into another? Could you put yogurt in there? Do crumbly things like granola leak into another compartment? How tightly does the lid fit down onto the sectioned part?
These look great I just wish that they didn't cost so much. I also wondered about leeking.
I'd love to hear about leaking from someone who has used this lunchbox for awhile!

Gosh, I wish they were less expensive. Ds lost two lunchboxes last year - and we came close to already loosing one the first week of school! Yikes. I can't spend that much until he is able to keep up with them.
