I need some help

So yesterday I had surgery. I got home and planned on breastfeeding and then a bunch of people jumped on me for doing it since I was just under general anesthesia. I am not sure what I was given. I know that I was given IV antibiotics, a "cocktail" to relax and then something to put me to sleep.

How long would you all not breastfeed for. I have been pumping but put it in the fridge anyways just in case it would be ok to use.


What should I do?
How long should I wait.

I am now on percoset for pain.

Hi Mama,

Usually Moms can breastfeed as soon as they are able to safely hold baby.
