holes in my tomatoes--what's doing it?

I am having a LOT of spoiled fruit--most of them have a little hole, which is sometimes just a small spot and sometimes a tunnel into the middle of the tomato, which is hollowed out or rotten. Any ideas about what could be doing it? I don't know what to do with them!

It sounds like corn earworms, or something similar. Sorry.

Green hornworms made holes in my tomatoes, but they alsoate a lot of leaves and stalk.

Sometimes it requires a little investigative work to determine what the culprit is! Try going out about an hour or more after dark with a flashlight to notice who's on the tomatoes. I'm always amazed at what a night time visit turns up! At least you'll have a better picture of what the pest is, and thus how to naturally treat for it.

In our neck of the woods, that could be caused by earwigs...not sure about your area...

eww...based on photos, I'm thinking it's slugs. Gross, gross, gross. I hate slugs.
