Anyone else using/used primrose oil?

I'm 39 weeks or 39+ change - started evening primrose oil vaginally Wed. evening & woke up yesterday morning with bloody show all day & also some today...is this normal??? Had cramping, etc. but it subsides after a while...my daughter was born randomly at 38 weeks with no warning except ruptured waters...is this whole prolonged process normal???

I've never had my water break but I have used EPO and am currently using it. I didn't ahve any early bloody show from it but I guess last time that was how I started labor and I used EPO last time. I've been using it this time since week 37 and I'm 38 weeks. I usually just wake up with a little more stuff coming out, some of it oily.

I've been using EPO for the last 10 days or so. I had pink/red-ish mucus for two or three days earlier this week, but I think it was more from the internal exam than anything.

I got a bit concerned because I read a post somewhere that EPO was dangerous because it's a blood thinner and promotes PROM??? I doubt my CNM would encourage me to do anything harmful...I've just had a great deal of bloody show during the first 24 hours of use - I'm using 500mg 3x vaginally a day....

I have done EPO at bedtime for the last 6 babies I think, never had any issues clotting after birth or PP bleeding. My water has broken two out of the 6 before labor began.
