Another Singapore math ?

I'm not sure if it's me, but I'm confused over the Standard vs. US editions. I've read what they said, and I think the Standard claims to be more challenging, but I'm not sure. Can someone help me decide what would be best here? Thanks!

I was never able to decipher what the difference truly was, so I just went with the US edition.

When looking at the table of contents, I understood that the US addition does currency in US dollars and when doing measurement it does BOTH metric and US standard units of measurement. I ordered the US edition.

Yes, I think it's only difference is in the mesurements which the US uses. We'll be ordering the International one, because my DH is Canadian.
He thinks the whole inches and feet thing is odd, although he learned both in school.

When I bought Singapore Earlybird, they only offered the Standard edition. It seems to offer more and people seem to like the format/HIG better. "Standards is the newer one with the few additional topics and topics rearranged to fall more in line with California state standards."

I looked at my copies and my Standard edition does use US currency. So I don't think it means metric verses feet/inches stuff, although I could be wrong. Is the main difference that the Standard edition follows CA's state standards then?

Here's a comparison of the two:
