ME TOO. I am usually the lizard - I LOVE the heat EXCEPT when I'm pregnant. I had my daughter in APRIL and it was already getting too hot for me. I spent my entire pregnancy (majority fall/winter) in flip flops.

All I want to do is hide out until the Seattle gray (that I typically loathe) comes back. I better not get that Indian Summer I was praying for earlier this year!

SUCH a bad mood today again!!!! Ugh!!! At least Syd & I are getting along, poor kid! We've had a great day - I am an emotional trainwreck!

DH & my anniversary is next weekened & I made us surprise massage appointments with a Spafinder.com gift certificate that I had stashed for 4 years (!!!). I JUST had the thing, but of course now I can't find it. I've spent all day tearing apart my house looking. Nothing.

I am SO upset!

TOTALLY bloated, totally constipated, totally fatty, totally HUNGRY, totally HOT, SWEATY AND SMELLY TOTALLY PREGNANT! UARGHRAWWWWWRRRR!!!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Ok, so I'm 7 weeks and 3 days and I too feel like my belly is busting out. But I don't think I should be feeling that because I'm already a thick/overweight woman. I'm feeling like I can't/shouldn't even try to hold it in anymore but I'm like who shows at 7wks?

Oh sorry, but you're cracking me up! I am SOOOO all of those things!
And it is really hot in Seattle today. I tried to go for a run and ended up walking the last half because it was way too hot, I was way too tired, and all I could think about was shoving burritos in my mouth (which I promptly did as soon as I got home).

um me? I can't hold it in either, and I'm almost 8 weeks. I'm not overweight, but I'm belly-licious! LOL I'm about 5'1" and I WAS about 115-118 lbs, closer to 125 now. Let the weight gain commence! ugh. I know it must be bloat/indigestion at least partly, but I can't fasten my pants! I'm wearing a skirt that a month ago was roomy, and now I have it half unzipped.

Happy Birthday

I've kissed good sleep goodbye. I'm up every couple of hours to pee. It's so annoying. I'm grateful that insomnia isn't an issue this time though.

meeting my new birth team today... going to Seattle was too much. Too much stress, too much travel, too much hassle, and WAY too much lying by them!

hopefully my new birth team will be better, they ARE closer.

Me!!

I am 20 lbs overweight, and I am shocked at how fast my belly has popped!

I have been waking at 3 am, then unable to fall asleep until 5 am, then hit dead sleep until DD/alarm at 6:20ish. This has happened 3 days in a row, and I am exhausted! Plus I am starving hungry in the middle of the night. Last night I finally got up at 3:30 and had a couple spoons of cottage cheese and milk, and was able to fall back asleep. Guess I have to just do what my body needs!

Happy Birthday, Ayla!

I think I'm 4w today, actually. I had a miscarriage, so my cycle is weirdly long. I'm 14dpo, though, so I'll start counting 4w today.

Feeling really good - I want some sickness and horrendous fatigue and things like that so I can be convinced that this is a sticky baby.

Accepting any symptoms that any of you ladies would like to get rid of - except complications like HG. I'm having a HBAC, so I need to stay healthy. But throwing up and narcolepsy would be fine.

The nurse said to me, "Are you nervous?" But I wasn't -- not at all. I've never had a problem going to the doctor in my life, so I really don't think it was from nervousness. Maybe it was just because I was so excited?! I did just look through my records of my first pregnancy, and my BP was always in the 120/70 (or less) range. But I've been to the doctor about six times since I had DD in April 2008, and the records show that it's always been in the 130/80 range. So maybe it's one of those "how your body changes after pregnancy" kind of things? Hopefully it doesn't go any higher than what it was yesterday!

First appointment today, all the NP did was chat with me, check blood pressure and do a pregnancy test. But she scheduled me for a dating ultrasound next Friday! Yay! I've been nervous since I really don't know for sure when we conceived, and I don't feel comfortable going more than 42 weeks without NST's so I want to know my due date. Besides, now I get to see the baby's heartbeat!

I love my OB's office, they are very hands off. They offered the ultrasound but she didn't push it. I won't have to have the GD test, and I will have a pap next month but other than that unless there are problems I won't have any vaginal exams until I am at the hospital delivering

I do wish I didn't have to have the pap...it makes me so nervous. But I'll be 10 weeks by then so hopefully I won't have to worry about miscarriage, and since I have a history of cervical cancer I am not comfortable skipping a pap.

Uggh, I'm having brown spotting again. And I can't attribute it to intercourse this time. I'm so over this, it's stressing me out. Now every time I get a twinge I freak out and think it's another ectopic pregnancy. I don't see the OB till the 31st...I'm not leaving without an u/s!

Oh, I feel you, rebeccalizzie. I had cervical dysplasia when I was only 17 and had to have part of my cervix removed (LEEP procedure). I hate paps but HAVE to have them done regularly. I had one last week.

Wanted to let you know that I'm right there with you. I think I've only NOT spotted for about a day or two this pregnancy. It sucks.

Oh mama! That is mind bending!!!! I hope the next week & 1/2 speeds by like... speedracer style!

Today I'm all crampy and out of sorts. I've been sleeping all day! My body must be in reverse hibernation. Sun is out - time to sleep!

This stage prior to regular fetal movement is so anticlimactic I know baby is in there somewhere eating all these peanutbutter sandwiches... right? It'd be nice to feel a "Thank you!"

Cherry Bomb, I hope you get reassurance soon.

Me too, although it doesn't worry me this time because I spotted with DS for the first 10 weeks or so. This seems to be my "normal" Plus it isn't very much, and it's brown.

Cherry Bomb, I had a LEEP also. Yuck. It was 8 or so years ago, and I have had good paps ever since, but it is always in the back of my mind. My mom had cervical cancer that spread to her uterus (hysterectomy, she's fine now) and my great grandma died of uterine cancer. I get to be one of the lucky few who has the genetic strain, not the HPV strain. Yay.

I think it's funny that some of us are having a hard time with the heat. DS was born in late August (his birthday is Thursday ). After that...NOTHING is hot. I swear, that is the hottest I've ever been in my life, LOL.

CherryBomb -- Would your OB be willing to see you earlier with the spotting? Just for your own peace of mind?

Wow. That must have been miserable. I swear, if it's not snowing, it's not cool enough for me. I told DH that there would be dire consequences if I was in my 3rd trimester any time in July, August, or September.
