A 5-piece (5 containers + 5 lids) set of Anchor Hocking glassware is on sale for $34.49 with free shipping. This is the kind that can go from the fridge to the microwave or oven. This is soooo much cheaper than I have found used and certainly much less than new on Amazon.

The set includes
* Two - 2 cup Refrigerator Storage with glass lids
* One - 5 cup Refrigerator Storage with glass lid
* Two - 12 cup Refrigerator Storage with glass lids
* 1 Silicone bakeware cookie sheet

I hope this deal helps someone else out.

ETA: Try sale code "augsale" for an additional 20% off.

I've been trying to order but it won't let me complete my order. It just keeps saying unable to calculate shipping. Hmmm. It is a great deal though!

Oh, no! I just put in my order (and received confirmation) right before I posted this. So sorry.

I finally was able to get mine to go through by changing to pay by credit card rather than paypal. I ordered two and it didn't charge me shipping at all. I wish I had only ordered one at a time because with my confirmation I received a code for %20 off!

I checked Amazon.com and to buy just the 5 cup one it was $30- so this really is an amazing deal.

So glad this deal worked for you! My mom is still using my grandmother's, so I know we will enjoy this for years to come.

I know! I have 15 year old anchor hocking that looks brand new and we use it pretty hard. I'm so excited about the flat glass lids- makes for easy stacking in the fridge.

Yay, I just got it to work! It wouldn't put the order through on Safari (the standard mac web browser) so I used firefox and it worked fine! I think I may order another set with the 20% coupon.

This is perfect timing too, I just through out all of our plastic-wear last week!

Thanks so much. We use random glass bowls, etc, but these will save so much space.

If anybody is not going to use the 20% off code that they got when purchasing these, I sure could use it. thanks

I got the code augsale. Is that what others got, too?
Thank you for the link! I've been needing some new mixing bowls after my old ones cracked and I've been looking at several thrift stores but couldn't find anything. I figured I'd end up going to Walmart or Target. But the site had some pretty cobalt blue mixing bowls for nearly half off!! So I bought them!! :

Yes, I got that same code, too, but it expires at the end of the month and I don't think I'll be using it.

We've been using Pyrex for years with the kids and they really don't have a problem.

I wish the Anchor Hocking sets had lids that locked on somehow. Many of our leftovers go to work w/DP and the lids need to stay on. And I think we would end up spilling all the time (I'm a klutz!).

That is a GREAT deal, though.

Okay, I ordered it and my dh is going to kill me :

My order also didn't have a shipping charge...I wonder if they will come back with one or what....

I wouldn't think so. I wasn't charged shipping either.

Question for those who have received theirs----

Do the lids line up? Some reviews on Amazon stated that the lids don't align, just checking.

I just got mine!!! The lids do line up. They aren't super tight the way a plastic lid would be, but they fit together well. Not an air tight seal for freezing, but perfect for baking a casserole or storing leftovers.

Hmmm. I wonder if I should get a second set.
