I was out looking for wooden train track pieces for DS today at yard sales and came across this stroller. I have been drooling over Maclaren strollers since DS was born. Recently, his jogger died a cruel death, my Combi that I had found for cheap is also dying a slow death, my umbrella stroller is just too short and gives me back aches, and I also have a Graco monstrosity that takes up my entire trunk, doesn't handle well, and is fugly to boot.
Anyway, I asked them how much they wanted for it, totally out of curiosity and the owner said, "Well, the frame of the shade is a bit bent and the buckle is broken a little bit, so I don't think my wife wants all that much for it" The "bent" shade is not bent beyond not being perfectly symetrical anymore, still perfectly functional. The broken buckle works just fine for my 2.5 year old and costs $19 to replace including shipping according to Maclaren's website. I was expecting them to say $50 or so at the very least. He came back and said, "would you take it for $5?"
Guess who is weeding out all of her old crappy strollers in the next couple of days??

: I LOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEEEE the Maclaren! It is the smoothest stroller I have ever pushed, and the height is crazy high (I am very tall), so it almost feels funny to push a stroller that is the correct height.
