Its been 7 weeks since I had a traumatic extraction and good sized fragments are still coming out on a regular basis. I saw an oral surgeon a couple of times due to an ulcer that ate to the bone and left about 1" of the jaw exposed on the side of my mouth and he did xrays but didn't say anything about bone fragments. Yesterday a rather large one came out, it took a couple of days to erupt it was so big. Today I have another one peaking though thats annoying me. How long will this kind of thing go on? It would be nice if I could just pull them like splinters when they start showing but due to there shape I just have to wait for them to be expelled or rip the gums open in the process.
