dmariev's 8 yo in hospital

This is dmariev's sister. Her 8 yo was in Washington with me for a visit from California. Friday, when coming back from the pool with my son, he was hit by a truck. They flew him to a Seattle hospital after stabilizing him. He is doing better now, but in a HORRIBLE amount of pain. Dani drove up with the baby from California and is with ds right now.

Please send prayer and healing vibes. This little guy is fighting but needs the support!

sorry it took so long, things have been a bit nut-so.
we are home now, having transferred Gabes care to a plastic surgeon about an hour away from home. he will need at least one skin graft on his foot, some dental work, and some physical therapy. he is not supposed to even *bonk* his head for the next year; they say it could cause permanent brain damage after such a bad concussion. that really sucks for him because he is usually a very active kid, with karate 4 times a week, riding his quad, and riding his bike. There was a fund set up in his name so we are waiting to see if we get enough to buy him an xbox 360, since he will be indoors for the next year. we don't want to send him to public school this year, so i will probably home-school.
Jaydin did wonderfully throughout the past few weeks, and boy oh boy has she grown since we left for seattle. but thats for another thread....
thank you all sooooo much for prayers, thoughts, and vibes. please keep em coming- he still has a ways to go.

Wow...he's been through so much! Please post the address for the XBOX fund. I'd like to contribute and maybe others would as well.

I homeschool my two boys, 6 & 10. We use a great inexpensive online program. Let me know if you would like the info about it.
