Chicken Pox Party - Denver Area

Hello,

Our little one is 13 going on 14 months and from what I can tell it seems like we are in the prime time to get Chicken Pox over with (still nursing, over a year, etc).

We're in Highlands Ranch, Colorado (Denver Area) and looking for an opportunity to expose our daughter to Chicken Pox somtime in the next few months. Anyone have any recommendations?

I am looking as well. A few months ago we exposed her, and no luck (though she could still be immune). It looks like the big "outbreak" has settled down and I haven't been able to find any pox!

I am interested as well - I have a 3 year old son and we're in Boulder. As much as I'm not looking forward to it, I think it is a good time to get it over with since he's still nursing, not in school yet, etc.

We're also looking. I have a 4 yr old, a 3 yr old, and a 15 month old. I did find someone with the pox last week, but we had my 3 yr old's birthday party this last weekend, so it wasn't a good time!

Chicken Pox

My daughter was exposed to a child with chicken pox 2 days ago. She has since started with the fever and now has small red bumps on her chest and back. I would be happy to have her share her pox with anyone interested. I know it's a bad time of the year but since pox are harder and harder to find it may be worth it. Wow! I can't believe your daughter has them already! I thought the incubation period was 2-3 weeks. She should only be contagious for a few more days, so, the sooner the better. Please let us know when works best for you. Rose is still in school this week, so after school hours would work best for us. I can come right NOW if that would suit you!

We've had quite a few successful parties and exposures. The more people to join the better the chances of finding pox. I'm the owner of the group and have it pretty heavily moderated so that we just stick to the topic of finding a party, no discussion or debate on the topic. This season has been uber slow so far, I'd love to get something going!!

WANTED POX EXPOSURE- DENVER AREA!!

I am searching to expose my 3 year old to Chicken Pox, we are in the Boulder / Denver area. I have waited till now and it seems a good time and he is in great health, so Id really like to expose him and avoid the vaccine.
