I agree. I loved Irina's! I didn't agree with the big red tent dress being in the top 3. It was so unflattering.

We don't have a TV, so I go over to the neighbor's house to watch this. This is the one show that I really love. It inspires me in my own sewing!

It looks like it's going to be really good - so many talented people. I'm glad they didn't eliminate the designer (whose name I forgot) who had to send his model down the runway in sheer fabric as he messed up the measurements. I was worried they wouldn't let that pass, and would keep the girl who had that metallic hexagon quilt dress instead. She seemed ... interesting, though.

i don't know the whole story but the weinstein company (I assume they got offered lots of money) decided to go to lifetime & nbc sued them because they said they had the right of first refusal basically... and the show was held in limbo while that got worked out....
