DIY wall hanging mail pockets?

I'm hoping for some crafty folks to help me out here. I am working on decluttering my office and need to make a nice looking pocket contraption that has 7-8 pockets. I would love it to hang on the wall and each pocket needs to hold good sized envelopes....like manila envelopes as well.

Any creative thoughts?

that would have to be pretty big but id do something like one of those over the door shoe organizers

Did you want to make it out of fabric or other materials?

Anything is find. I actually don't sew, so would prefer no fabric. I almost need something like a bunch of strung together files folders. But people come through our office all the time and I really dont want to tack a bunch of folders on the wall.

How about decorating the folders and gluing them to a strip of felt and mounting that to the wall?

Expanding folders, that is (http://www.oppictures.com/singleimag...10ASST_1_1.JPG) the ones with the sides that can hold other folders.
