baby only wants me to feed him, help.

my little guy is 15 weeks old and lately only wants to eat from me. on occastion he will eat from daddy, but not very often. he is formula feed. and i have always tried to get his father to feed him at least once aday. but now he only wants me. does anyone know what we can do to get him to take the bottle from someone else?

Sorry- no advice here! If you need him or others to give a bottle cause you will be gone for work or something I would keep trying but if you are able to be home I would just assume it is a preference that really won't last too long- a few months at most right? It's nice to have a break once in awhile!

im home with him everyday, but the grandpanents would like to babysit him so me and my husband could go out and get a little break. and it really bothers my husband that he wont eat from him. all he does is cry. then i take him and he eats.
these past 2 nights my husband has given our son his bottle, but im not in the room. i go to my room so daddy can be alone with our son. and this seems to help. but if he knows im around then there is no way he is going to eat from anyone else.

It's pretty normal for a baby to want his primary care giver to feed him, even if you're bottle feeding.

As for someone feeding when you're gone, it's easier when you're not around. If they can see you they want you. If they can't they'll figure it out and likely pretty okay with it!

Thanks for posting that article.....nice to re-evaluate my thinking regarding our situation (baby only want me in the evenings adn won't eat from Dad). Just have to remind myself that this won't last forever and she's only small for a short time :)
