I didn't see your msg but I am sorry about your grandpa. You must have (had?) an awesome relationship with him. I sure wish I knew my grandpa's like that but they died so long ago.

I didn't see it. I remember when I posted about my dad there were a lot more views than posts but I remember your kind thoughts as one of the posters.
I know often esp. if it's a serious topic I want to wait until I can post something meaningful and well thought out but then lose the post (even my own ). No excuse, I know, but I'm sure other Mamas do it too. If you don't want to repost but want to 'talk' please PM me.

I too am sorry for you loss. I recently lost a beloved grandparent and it's hard.

And sorry that you felt ignored. I know that I peruse some other sites as a guest but am not a member, so I don't have posting abilities. Maybe that's common here also? I don't come here often but when I do I get so much help reading other's posts, so I hope you do repost!

How awesome that you got to really know your great grandpa, mine died either before I was born, or when I was very young. I didn't see your post, but guess I wanted to post to let you know that if I'd have read it would have been hard NOT to reply to a moving post.

i'm so sorry. My grandfather has been very ill, and although he is older, it's simply devastating.
