Hello all,
I am a new mom and a new member of the mothering.com community. I found this website after I asked a few attachment-parenting type questions on a local moms forum and someone suggested I check out this website for better answers. I've been here a few times when I was researching the best way to have a natural childbirth and now that I have a brand new (nearly 3 weeks old) baby boy, I thought I would introduce myself.
My name is Faye and I live in Washington, DC. I'm looking forward to being part of this forum and exchanging information (and probably, in the early days, mostly seeking advice!)
My husband and I adore our new son and we don't want to put him down anymore than he wants to be put down. This is a pretty good arrangement 99 percent of the time (though some of the 2 hour sleeping nights are really starting to wear on me!). I'm EBFing and that's going very well so far (my son came out ready to teach seminars on the breast-and I just follow his lead).
I'm looking forward to meeting you and learning from you. Take care!
