WIC while breastfeeding...

Sorry if this is the wrong forum...it probably is, but i figured since you mama's are all nursing lo's, i'd probably get an answer faster?

Anyway...what do you get on WIC while nursing? Just curious how much it's going to change...thanks!

I used to get beans, peanut butter, cow milk, cereal, juice, eggs and cheese.....

You get all the above atm, plus carrots & tuna... all the wic packages are changing in oct though and you'll start getting some other veggies/fruit & whole grains, and I think salmon too

Some wic offices will also get you a pump or rent you one for almost nothing.

I get all that was mentioned above and I got a free Ameda Purely Yours pump.

36 oz breakfast cereal
1 lb beans
20 qt milk
6 things of juice
3 lb cheese
2 lb carrots
4 cans tuna
2 doz eggs
jar of peanut butter
I have access to the LC, she got me bigger flanges for my Purely yours. She helped me get the pump through insurance. We get $15 at the farmers market which was just last weekend.
