They are awesome! I have used their service off and on for years and they are really worth it IMO.

March 22

nak a teething (ouch) baby.

Man, today was buzy! I think we may need to use the gymnasium next week...

It was really nice to meet Pam and Abigail. I still find it so cool to meet moms from mdc irl. Pam is someone I have met irl a few times before I knew she was an mdc momma. She is really cool and Abigail is a gorgeous redhead . We had a new family from Spain join us this week as well.

This week I noticed that interactions between children are less frequent than the ones between adults. I think this playgroup should be called the 'Adult sanity saver group' because we are all so desperate for other adults to talk to :LOL . At one point I was so engrossed in talking that I didn't realize that one of the other moms (Alison) had been taking care of my son for me! I am not used to talking uninterrupted . Again, I really like the group of people who come to this playgroup. I was really pleasantly surprised at how most of the parents are people I would definitely trust with my child. And I have become quite strict about who I would trust my child with...

Hey Natalie. It was fun today. I'm so glad that I came. I have scanned those knitting patterns for you. They are from a very old book, published in the UK. That means the knitting needle sizes are UK sizes, so you'll need to find out what they are in metric. A UK size 10 is 3.25 mm. As for the yarn the pattern calls for, I have no idea what weight that is! Louise at LK would probably know though.

I'll see you in two weeks. I was trying to think if I know anybody in Fall River anymore, and I don't think I do, all my friends have moved away from there!

Hi Natalie and Alison

I didn't know you were doing a weekly update Natalie. You are so efficient. For any moms in the area who are thinking of coming to the playgroup, it is a lot of fun, and all of the moms and kiddos are wonderful.

Now, we just have to come up with a plan so you can stay home and keep the group going!

See you soon

Natalie, I'm so honoured that you'd trust your son to us! I must say, I'd trust Andrew to you, but then, that's a good thing considering that when you go back to work you'll be getting paid by people trusting their babies to you!

Just me chiming in to say we had a great time, and hope we can make it back frequently.

Hey Natalie. Just wondering if anything new and exciting was going on at playgroup. Is the art gallery thing still on? Andrew and I hope to be at playgroup on Monday, looking forward to seeing you and Liam and everyone else.

Well I was all set to come today, but dh drove off with the sling in the car, and I don't know if I can handle taking her on a bus trip without it. I'm pretty bummed about it!

Well, Natalie is without a computer at the moment, which is why we haven't been getting our weekly playgroup updates. Playgroup today was lots of fun--another new face today this time a little girl to play with Samanda. We all hope she comes back soon! When I started coming to playgroup, Andrew sat with the other babies. Now he's hanging with the toddlers! Oh, how time flies!

Remember everyone, no play group next week, it's Easter Monday. See you all in two weeks.

Hi Alison,

I'm glad playgroup was fun today! I'm sorry we missed it. It was pretty messy out here in the morning, and since we had a busy weekend away I just wasn't up to driving. But I forgot that there wouldn't be playgroup next week, so I wish I had gone!!!

I had a card for Andrew to wish him a Happy Birthday!

And I have a knitting problem that I was hoping you could help me with LOL! I have all of the sweater I was working on done except for the hood. And the pattern makes no sense to me. I don't even like the sweater now LOL, but I can't leave it unfinished.

Oh well, I'm sure it will still be unfinished in two weeks

See you then
and HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!

Hi Krista. Where is your pattern from? If it's from a book, I might be able to get a hold of a copy at work and have a look. It might be the pattern's fault too. I had the worst time with one pattern, and when I checked the website, there was an errata to my pattern that explained everything! Do they have a contact number on the pattern for you to call and ask?

I'm sure the sweater will look awesome when finished!

See you in two weeks.

Alison, thanks for posting the updates. I am on my parents computer at the moment. I was suffering severe computer withdrawl Friday evening. I rented "Lost in translation " to compensate.

Krista, I am so glad you are o.k. I always think something terrible has happened to you when you don't show up. I was going to call to let you know that we wouldn't be there today and I forgot! I hope you had a good easter !

Pam, sorry about your sling incident. I Have btdt !

The art gallery is on for May 3rd. Just go to the art gallery instead of playgroup. Same time, 11-1.

Hope you have all had a good easter/spring holiday! Peace!

See you on Monday .

Hi all! It was great to put some names to faces today at the playgroup. I think we might stick with our regular playgroup for the time being, until Ainsley is a bit older. I think some of the toddler action might have been a bit much for her.

Hope to see you all again,

Michelle

I am guessing that Natalie still doesn't have her computer back, or else she's too busy packing and getting ready to move! I just wanted to remind everyone that there is no playgroup on Monday, but that for those who signed up, meet at the Art Gallery at the normal playgroup time instead. I'm looking forward to it, hope every one else is too!

Well, our visit to the art gallery was a lot of fun--some babies got much messier than others Anyway, this is something that anybody can do, if they get together a group to split the cost--just ask the art gallery about it. All "art" supplies were edible, and watching babies messing around in jello and applesauce etc in their diapers was just too sweet to miss! Sorry Natalie had to miss it--moving will do that to you!

Hey Ladies,

I just bought my tickets for Nova Scotia - I fly in on June 22nd and stay till Aug 24th. I'll be staying about an hour outside of Halifax in a tiny little town called Cheverie (about a half hour from Windsor). Hoping there are going to be some summer events, would love to hook up with some of you. I'm already counting the days till i can escape the Arizona heat - so order up some good weather for me this summer, okay?
