We have a lot of house an only a bit of yard, which is cut into long narrow strips with a rectangle in the front. I got a dwarf lime tree at the Farmer's Market on Sunday, and need to know where to put it!
I was thinking the front yard, because there's the most space, but (1) it's shady a lot of the day and (2) we don't have a fence; our yard is about 2 feet above sidewalk level, and that's the only barrier. So we might not get many limes.
In the back yard, the most obvious place will, I hope, someday, be covered up by a deck. We have a dwarf orange tree out there in another space; can I put the lime next to it? Fairly close?
