The pic of him sucking his thumb so early on is just too much
I bet he'll be great at self soothing.

Congratulations! You know, that's why we keep our options open and remember what really does matter is a healthy mom and baby. There are some circustances where you do what you have to do.

I 100% agree!!!! Liking the backup doctor so came in handy for us. While I was briefly sad about not getting to birth in water, my lil man's well being was so much more important! Getting a backup team as great as what I got made the change in plans work for us, giving us a different but still wonderful experience! And I am just so happy he is so healthy and sweet!!!!

Sorry I am rambling but it really was an eye opening experience in so many ways!

Thank you! I love it I am so happy the nurse or midwife got it! He is a master nurser and I agree I think he will self sooth.
