Mom Brestfed LIVE on Fox & Friends

I missed the story, will have to check foxnews.com, because I was on the phone so I didn't hear what was going on, but saw the word "breastfeeding" on the screen. The mom they were interviewing was talking....had to do with covering up, indecency or something.

Anyway, mom they were interviewing was breastfeeding LIVE on NATIONAL TV! ::

I saw it too. It was about the nursing mom who was asked to cover up at a Chick-fil-A. I loved that she nursed throughout the interview!

I love how the mom never agreed that it's okay only if it's discreet. Yay! She did a really great job answering the questions.

Oh, that was cute! I think the mom did great for obviously not being too comfortable with the national news thing. I wonder how many people watching it were shocked at the end when the host referenced the nursing thing?

Two thumbs way, way up! In addition to Ms. Krivensky's calm delivery of key phrases and refusal to be trapped by leading questions, the station also showed some fabulous nurse-in footage AND repeatedly addressed the fact that the law is on the nursing dyad's side. WELL DONE ALL AROUND!!

That was awesome! Kudos to her for being such a wonderful (if reluctant!) spokeswoman for nursing mamas and babies everywhere!!!! Excellent interview--she was fabulous!!!

Fox News--particularly Fox & Friends--has actually always been pretty supportive of breastfeeding. I've seen them commended time & again in this forum. And the attendant shock every single time.

I was listening to this story on a conservative talk radio show on the way to work this morning. Every single person, without fail, including the host, was supportive of this mother. When a caller tried to say that it is okay as long as she is covered up, the host defended the mother and asked the caller if he asks the girls at Hooters to cover up. It was VERY pro-breastfeeding and supportive. The law was mentioned many times as well.
