I think you should look into the School Choice movement.
Put the words School Choice into a google search. You will find a movement out there, which believe parents and guardians should not be subject to school boards and should be released from the shackles of public school educationwithout a choice.
I live in Cleveland Ohio and we have a program call Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Program(CSTP). it is a pilot program which allows parents to use their tax monies and send their children to the school of their choosing.
Sound good? You bet it is!
I ,the mother, knows what is best for my children.
Not the School board or the State dept of Education, Me, the mom knows best.
Pubic funded education does not have to take place in a public school.
I would urge you to look into Washington DC where they just initiated a like program. Or Milwaukee Wisc where a similiar program exists.
