Subamniotic (Pre-Placental) Hematoma

Does anyone know where I can find more information about this? There is very little online, and I would like to know causes and a bit more info about this condition. It is supposedly rare. I believe I had this based on the fact that there was a huge blood clot between the miscarried baby and the placenta.

Try googling subchorionic hematoma. I had one last pregnancy and my RE said they are actually more common then people know. So sorry for your loss.

I have seen this diagnosed through US several times and all have carried and birthed at term. Supposedly there is a higher risk of pph, though I have not seen this to be true.
So sorry for your loss...
