I had my first ppaf in June when ds2 was 8 months old, the next one was slightly less than a month later in July. Now we're in August and I haven't had an af this month... is this something that's normal or should I worry? I have an IUD (Mirena) and ds2 is still bfing. Dh and I have had unprotected sex, is pregnancy a possibility? TIA!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I don't think pregnancy is something you should be worrying about yet. I believe most women's cycles take a very long time to regulate postpartum. I had my PPAF about a month ago and haven't even ovulated yet (i know this from charting). With my first child my first cycle was 3 weeks long followed by an 8-week-long one. There is no "normal" at this point.

It can take a while for the body to be in full cycle mode after birth. In my case after each birth my periods didn't come back until about 18 months later...and even then they weren't yet regular. I'd have a couple of 'normal' months and then an anovulatory cycle or two.
Bfing can also cause your cycle to seem wonky, especially those first several cycles pp.
I'd say that between the bfing and the IUD you'd not be at great risk of being pg again. But if it helps your peace of mind...there's always the pg tests.
