Wheat Allergy Detox Period?

My 3 year old has been allergic to wheat since birth.. We had her back on it for about 7 months and have now pulled her back of it. My question.. is there a detox period of how long it takes to come out of the system? Also what type of symptoms to watch for during this time? She has been VERY whiney and aggitated for the last 3 weeks since we have taken her off wheat. I am thinking this is related to the detox period but it is also possible it could be an environmental allergy.. We are in an area where there is intensive farming going on and with a wheat allergy I was wondering if it could be in the air... We just got a dog a week ago and all of our kids tested not allergic to dogs and we have one up until last year when he died.. I am HOPING it is not the dog!! She has been a bit worse this past week but it was occurring (the behavior type issues) before we got the pup. Any advice ? Thanks!!

When I went off of gluten, I had a horrid migraine-like headache for 2-3 weeks. It slowly got better, but I was definitely in a foul mood. Good luck!

My son's is a gluten intolerance, and it was 3 days of horrible begging for gluteny foods.

I didn't notice a problem for either of my kids when we cut gluten, but I've read of it. But 3 weeks seems like it's on the long end of things, you haven't introduced a new food, or increased the amount of something else?
