Medium Fuzzi Bunz (perfect size) ???

I know this will vary a bit from baby to baby, but on average, at what point will most babies fit into the new medium sized perfect fit Fuzzi Bunz, and how long will they last in this size?

I am trying to decide whether I should go with the 'one size' version of Fuzzi Bunz or if I should go with the Medium perfect fit size (and use something else, either kissaluvs or sposies, until they fit into the FB's).

Interested to See

I don't have any of the new Fuzzi Bunz. I'll be interested to see what people think about this. In the old style, size medium fit for us from about 5 months (when we used them as overnight diapers) until potty training.

The mediums fit DS from about 6 months, and still fit him at 17 months. It should get him all the way to potty training.

Although the medium FB's certainly don't get all kids to potty training, they will last to potty learning for kids on the smaller end of the weight range. For example, my daughter was 22 lbs when she was pretty much done with diapers and still fit well into her mediums. But for larger kids, you'll need the large size. I personally think the perfect sized FB are just a little larger than the previous version. So they usually start fitting around 15-17 lbs depending on the baby's build.

I really like the fit of these. I like their OS as well, but I love the fit of the sized diapers.

The mediums are able to fit my 8 month old and my 2.75 year old. My older boy is about 30 lbs, but the diaper still fits well even though he's at the weight limit. I think a lot of it depends on how your child is built. I've been using them about two months so they also fit the baby when he was 6 months old. I've debated between getting the older boy some size larges, but I decided to try two of the one size FB first. If those don't fit him well, they'll probably fit the younger boy so it won't be a total loss.

the meds fit my first dd from about 4 mos till almost potty training- she potty trained at 4.5 though! lol. she started out chubby then slimmed down quite a bit. this was the old style though.

We started CDing at 7 months and bought medium FB- we are still using them and DS is 27 months and 30 pounds. We still have plenty of room in them and should be able to use them through potty training.

When my DD was 15ms, the medium quit fitting well. Her legs were too chubby but the larges were too big. Now, after playing all summer, they fit lots better. She's 22 lbs.

i don't have a OS, so I don't know how to compare.

They fit dd at 8 months and she will never grow out of them. Same with ds2.

my ginormous 6mos old wore them from 3-5 mos. Now fitting well in the larges. He's about 27lbs now

How does a baby's build play into it?
My DD is 15 lbs at 6 months and very slender. We're considering the medium perfect size fuzzibunz as well ... she's been in kissaluvs and prefolds thus far.

My ds is 6 months and 20lbs but very tall and slender in build. We tried moving to the mediums a couple weeks ago and they are just too big still. Probably will fit better this week but his smalls still fit too. I think sometime in the next month we'll be exclusively in the mediums

DS started wearing them at 7 months, he was about 19 lbs, 29.5 inches.

My daughter started using the MD fuzzi bunz when she was about 8 months old and still fits into them at 2.5. My problem is that now that she's older and her thighs are thinner, the legs gap a little and I have had leaks because of it. I have one the the new OS fuzzi bunz and it is my new favorite! I can adjust the leg holes to fit perfectly. With the lifetime warrenty on the snaps and the completely replaceable elastic, it is the diaper to go with, IMO.

Edit.

I bought medium fuzzi bunz when my oldest was 4 months old. They still fit him, at 36 months old. Now, granted, he was a fat baby (18 or 20 lbs by 4 months), and a skinny toddler (38 lbs at 36 months), but that's a very long life.

I think that they are a bit stretched out, because they didn't fit baby #2 until he was 6 months old. And, it seems that 32 months is a long life for them, because a few are losing the elasticity on the thighs (nothing that can't be fixed, though). I bought them used, as well, so a very good return for our money.

Mediums would be too big now. I would recommend the one-size.
